Documentary series in which YouTube sensation Beau Ouimette, an experienced river detectorist, teams up with presenter Rick Edwards, to search the UK's rivers and waterways in an attempt to find underwater archaeological treasures. The pair wil visit some of the most historically significant sites across Britain, where some iconic events and battles took place. By using state-of-the-art technology, archive maps and contemporaneous accounts from the period, they will find various artefacts under layers of silt and rocks, which they will take to local archaeologists and historians to uncover the stories behind the finds.
