Alien animals reveal their otherworldly features. Stick insects disguise even their droppings as twigs, water striders glide on liquid as if defying physics, and dragonfly nymphs strike with spring-loaded jaws while breathing through gills in their abdomen. Dr. Pol performs emergency surgery after a beloved dog gets a toy stuck in his gut. A new puppy owner learns to clean up her room after her dog passes a sock in the clinic parking lot. The vets team up to pluck an endless number of quills from a pair of curious dogs. Just when the vets thought that they had seen it all, Doc is called to treat a dog and a goose after they got into a fight.
