Gold Rush is a reality television series that follows the placer gold mining efforts of various family-run mining companies in boundless north of America. The series focuses on the work process in the conditions of permafrost and working relations between the participants. The show has 10 seasons altogether. In some episodes participants start the adventure and travel to Alaska to search for gold because of financial issues. They do not have any previous experience and have to learn on the job. Then there appears several gold mining teams that compete with each other. In some episodes the teams move to South America. Admire the courage and determination of the team members in their unstoppable desire to become rich.
