The stories encompass amnesiac Marv's (Rourke) gradual recollection of an epic evening's vigilantism; lucky gambler Johnny's (Gordon-Levitt) ill-advised decision to take on Basin City's murderously corrupt Senator Roark (Powers Boothe) at a high-stakes poker game; and stripper Nancy's (Alba) halting attempt to avenge the death of her beloved detective John Hartigan (Bruce Willis). And then there's the dame of the title, perhaps the most fatale of all femmes, Ava (Green), who mercilessly deploys her considerable physical and sexual charms to manipulate hapless private eye Dwight (Josh Brolin) into committing homicide for her. The impressive ensemble cast also includes Rosario Dawson, Ray Liotta, Christopher Lloyd and Juno Temple. In black and white and colour.
