Die Freunde werden zu Elzars Kochshow eingeladen. Bender unterbricht den Fernsehkoch ständig. Dieser wird so wütend, dass er Leela aus Versehen mit dem Wiesel ins Auge spritzt. Leela ist daraufhin erblindet und trägt bis zur Heilung eine Augenklappe.

Bei einem Angelausflug wird das Raumschiff von einem riesigen Fisch in die Tiefe gezogen. Unter Wasser entdecken die Freunde die Stadt Atlanta, die von Meerjungfrauen bewohnt wird. Fry verliebt sich sofort, doch diese Liebe hat keine Zukunft.
