American comedy series. Al Bundy (Ed O'Neill) was once a promising young high school American football player. Now he is a middle-aged and cynical shoe salesman living in the suburbs of Chicago. After a long day working in his unfulfilling job, he goes home to a family who irritate and disrespect him. His wife Peggy (Katey Sagal) is a lazy woman who spends the families money on herself and openly mocks and taunts Al. Their two children are Kelly and Bud. Kelly, the eldest daughter is not a bright kid. She dates a string of guys much to the annoyance of her father. Her younger brother Bud is a smart boy, but he's not what he would like to be - a hit with the ladies. Starring Christina Applegate as Kelly and David Faustino as Bud.
