Chamber music by Haydn, Chausson & Mendelssohn
Discover the next generation of chamber music talent from the Reina Sofía School of Music. In the first half of this program, Trio Michelangeli presents two masterpieces: Joseph Haydn’s Piano Trio No. 39 in G major, nicknamed ‘Gypsy’, followed by the romanticism of Ernest Chausson’s Piano Trio in G minor. The concert concludes with a performance by the Erinys Quartet of Felix Mendelssohn’s inventive String Quartet No. 2 in A minor.

The Mexico City Ballet (MXCB) is a contemporary ballet company made up of highly experienced international dancers, residents of Mexico City. In this gala performance recorded at Mexico City’s Teatro de la Ciudad, MXCB presents ‘E pur, si muove’ by choreographer Jaime Camarena, followed by ‘Prisma’ by choreographer Yazmín Barragán.
