De ontmoeting tussen de Malinese koraspeler Ballaké Sissoko en de Franse bassist Vincent Ségal. Ballaké Sissoko werkte samen musici als Toumani Diabaté en Taj Mahal. Bij toeval ontmoette hij de Franse cellist en bassist Vincent Ségal.
