Deep Into The Grand Canyon

This show explores the unbridled natural beauty of America's national parks and highlights some of the most awe-inspiring scenery on the planet. Travelling beyond the more conventional tourist hot-spots, the viewer is transported to the hidden wonders of America's wild spaces. Episodes include joining a scientific exploration of the 277 mile long Grand Canyon, studying its geological history, exploring the microscopic colonies of vegetation and examining its unique creatures; journeying through the Everglades, a 1.5 million acre home to strange creatures, carnivorous plants, amphibious birds and fish that can breathe air; and navigating across the northwest archipelago of Hawaii following a team of diving scientists as they inspect the unique aquaeous flora and fauna.
