Tim and Fuzz are off to Norfolk to take on a 1962 TVR Grantura, a once classy British sports car that has fallen into disrepair. The car belongs to former refrigeration engineer Steve, who bought it as a project in 1978 not realising the amount of work needed. After nearly 50 years in a barn, it makes this car has been off the road longer than anything Car SOS has ever taken on before.

Tim and Fuzz take on a 1989 VW Golf GTi, one of the most iconic cars to have come out of the 1980s and one which just happens to be Tim Shaw’s all-time favourite car. The boys challenge this time is to make this particular Golf suitable for its owner Darren, a former bus driver who was left disabled and partially sighted after a tragic road accident in which he saved the life of his young grandson.
