Description
The second part focuses on the challenges of the future: How do the national parks deal with invasive species from outside and what success stories can be reported? For instance, in the Hohe Tauern National Park the previously extinct ibexes and bearded vultures have been reintroduced. In the Gesäuse National Park Avalanches created one of the most species-rich habitats, which rare butterflies like the Red Apollo colonize.
