The Curse of Civil War Gold is a non-fiction series about American Civil War history. Michigan native, part time treasure hunter Kevin Dykstra and his team search for lost treasures of Civil War Gold, estimated to be worth millions of dollars. They join forces with Marty Lagina from The Curse of Oak Island trying to solve the mystery and find the lost gold. The story goes that Union soldiers tracked down Confederate president Jefferson Davis in 1865 and confiscated his gold. Later it was smuggled north and ended up in Lake Michigan. And this is exactly where Kevin and his crew head to.
