Hvad er bedre end én superhelt? En hel famile af superhelte! Mød familien Thunderman, en ikke særlig normal familie, hvis største prioritet er, at holde alle deres superkræfter hemmelige for omverdenen og leve et helt normalt liv. Nemt, ikke? Jo, selvfølgelig! Især når de to ældste søskende – Phebe og Max – har en sund konkurrence kørende, der bliver top tunet af deres superkræfter! Yep, planen om at 'passe ind' kommer måske til at tage lidt længere tid end de havde håbet.
