It's the dress that all little girls dream of, and one that most will only get chance to pick out once. A fairy tale occasion that has the ability to make dreams come true. It's also the source of tantrums, tears and arguments all wrapped up in tulle and satin with an intricate beading. A bride's journey to picking out that perfect wedding gown is a near military operation. Luckily, Gok Wan has joined the expert bridal consultants at Ava Rose Hamilton's Boutique in Lancashire to help an abundance of brides-to-be track down their dream dress. But, with budgets to consider, personal issues, dramas and the opinions of the entourage, will Gok be able to help these brides find their perfect gown?

This programme aims to explore the complicated issues that can happen when teenage pregnancy suddenly happens. Focusing on three girls, the camera captures each trimester and the first few weeks of parenthood. Each couple is completely unprepared for what is about to happen when they become parents which is where each set of grandparents comes in handy. Tensions become high as everyone has their own set of rules on what the "perfect" parent should be like and what the future beholds for the young parents to be.
