Mengjie Han (*1989) performs Franz Liszt’s transcription of Richard Wagner’s Tannhäuser Overture, S.442, during the quarter finals of the Liszt Piano Competition 2014. Han studied at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague with Marlies van Gent, and with Jan Wijn at the Conservatory of Amsterdam.
