Pan Bean žije ve svém bytě spokojeným životem, stará se o svého milovaného medvídka Teddyho a vůbec by neměl problémy, nebýt... Jeho bytná paní Wicketová a její zlá kočka Škrábal mu nedají pokoj. K tomu se ještě přidají takové věci jako únosci medvídků, nedostatek slunce na pláži, nebo jarní úklid a katastrofa je hotová.(monolog)
