Hosted by Buddy Valastro, this cooking program takes various Italian-American dishes from Valastro's own family recipes and shows how they can be prepared in minimal time and using ingredients that are easily obtainable and affordable. Each meal usually consists of a main course, a side dish and a dessert and Buddy is joined in the kitchen by members of his family to show us how it's done and to add authenticity. Episodes feature Buddy and his wife Lisa making chicken Sorrentino with fusilli with a side of asparagus and chocolate dipped strawberries for dessert for date night; Auntie Anna revealing her secret recipes for manicotti and her chicken with vinegar peppers; or Buddy and his cousin Frankie reminiscing about the sights and food of Italian street fairs. Although sleepless nights, sibling squabbles and living rooms full of toe-tripping toys are a regular feature in any home with kids, what really happens when there are 14 of them under one roof? The series features a Las Vegas couple, Karen and Deon, who have had four sets of multiples back to back, with all of them being conceived naturally. The show will showcase the endearing couple who are all set to welcome a set of triplets while raising the elder 11, their ages ranging from 2 to 14. While Karen and Deon both have always wanted to have a big family, a ménage of 14 is not exactly they'd wished for. With both having inherited a gene pool that boasts a lineage of multiple births, the show will portray how the family celebrates and embraces all of life's hurdles and drama with open arms.
